Last night was rough. Tim was at the fire station and Ty woke up 4 times to eat and on the third time Willow came in the room and told me she peed in the bed. After putting Ty back in his crib, I went in her room to change her sheets. I then found willow and Zoe headed down stairs at 5am, so I grabbed them and put them in bed with me. Thankfully they fell back asleep till a little after 7. Days like this its so easy for the devil to bring me down. It's so daunting knowing that I have to go into work tonight. The girls have been exceptional today though. We did homeschool and they have been playing great together. They both left me a " letter" on my bed. They told me it said how much they love me. Nice to know they can't always tell when I'm cranky. So right now Ty is finally taking a nap and I gave in. The girls and I are watching Pocahontas. They are sooo excited. Time to put all negative thoughts outside my mind and enjoy the snuggling. Coffee will be my best friend tonight.
This blog is going to be a constant reminder of the good life God has given me. It will be a way for me to remember all of His blessings and keep my perspective on life clear and to hopefully encourage others along the way.

Brave
We went to Bible study today. It is always sooo good. I leave feeling empowered by God and ready to tackle anything life throws at me. Then when we get home I was busy making what seemed liked a gazillion things to get ready for my momma's birthday dinner. I was trying to get the kids to nap and of course willow and Zoe are there crazy selves and don't sleep. Already the irritation was building and by that afternoon my teeth were sore from gritting them so much. That night when momma and everyone got there I was able to take my eyes off myself and help Lily who was going through a hard time. It seems like I am the one who most often gets in the way of my own happiness. The night ended up going great, everyone had a great time. When we were putting the kids to bed Tim and I were bent down to kiss Willow. She said," Mommy you're brave girl and daddy your a brave boy." I asked her why and she said, "Because God made you Tim and Brittany." That melted my heart. God knew what I needed to hear.

Supper time
Aunt Debbie came over this evening with some south 21. The trout was so good, it had been so long since I had some. It was an interesting dinner to say the least. First off when Debbie walked in the door my children act as though I haven't fed them all day. They were grabbing her bags of food and yelling, " what's that?? I want some!!" So in a frantic rush I grab plates and start to cut things up for them, put Ty in the high hair and distract him with puffs. Finally, we can eat. I take a few bites when Zoe gets a speck of water on her dress and wants to take it off. A little later she has to pee and wants my help. As I'm done helping her I see diarrhea leaking from the high hair Ty is sitting in. No lie... I told Debbie not to judge me and that I was gonna finish my food before I cleaned him up! Bout that time Zoe spilled her cup of water everywhere all while Willow is sneaking food off everyone's plate! The biggest part of me wanted to scream" Can't I just eat my freaking trout?!" But God's grace was sufficient and I just had to laugh. I know Debbie enjoyed the entertainment as always, she makes it that much easier to laugh.

Long day
Tim went to help Kenny do perk test in the mountains today so it's just me and the kiddos with errands to run. Thankfully the load was lightened when mom said she would ride with me. First stop was to drop off a load at goodwill which is surprisingly very therapeutic to get rid of stuff. It can all cloud your mind. Next stop was costcos which was not a budget friendly trip. I'm now about 50$ in the hole for my grocery budget and I still have more shopping to do tomorrow! The kids were great. Afterwards mom and I got a midmrning pick me up from Starbucks with my gift card.. Once I got home there was about 10 trips from car to kitchen of groceries plus an extra trip carrying up kids. Then the mid afternoon meltdown of hunger for everyone. Once bellies were filled and naps were taken the afternoon for them went better, but I was pooped. I could feel myself letting the old Brittany creep back in and get aggregated at those crazy loud children. So I took them for a walk and Willow asked little girls next door Aubrey and Myah to come along. The walk ended with me pushing Zoe in the stroller and carrying big Ty bear. They came over to play for awhile. Then came glorious bedtime. Tim didn't get home till 9:30 . We enjoyed talking about all our " issues" of the day. When you retell them all they start to sound pretty funny. So thankful for a best friend to talk to at the end of the day.
